Roles
and Responsibilities:

Oversee the GEP and
Diploma program documents and course materials on the server and ensure that
such documents are up-to-date and relevant.
·
Monitor, evaluate, and
develop materials for the GEP and Diploma program.
·
Provide administrative
and educational support for teachers to ensure that the highest possible
service is provided to ACE students
·
Run the program
meetings as required each term
·
Mark Placement Tests
for new students
·
Interview
prospective teaching candidates (face-to-face; via online platforms) and
complete interview reports.
·
Counsel students with
regards to issues such as attendance, motivation, and level
·
Conduct PD workshops
for the program teachers termly
·
Arrange inductions and
mentors for new teachers to ACE and to recommend level moderators for each
level of the program
·
Observe new and
experienced teachers at ACE and provide constructive feedback and report to
them
·
Arrange peer
observations for new teachers which best meet their academic needs
·
Assist with timetables,
assessments and assist with enrolment procedures for failing or borderline
students
·
Participating
in ACE events as required
·
Any other duties as
directed by the Campus Manager
Key
Requirements:
|
· A bachelor’s degree
and an ELT related qualification (A master’s degree in TESOL/Applied
Linguistics is preferred)
· Good communicative, interpersonal
skills and team player capabilities
· Good organizational
and time management skills
· Strong commitment to
professional, personal integrity and ethical conduct . An
effective communicator and problem solver
· Ability to engage and
work in a multicultural environment
